Threaders – Application and help

Is your threader not working?

Are you sure that the threader is defective, or is the small metal hook in the centre of the metal threader just bent? Then there is no problem. Please slide the threader downwards at both notches and remove it from the rod. In this case, slightly bent the metal hook back to the centre by means of a metal nail file and put the threader back into the notch; subsequently, place it under the rod again, slide it upwards and press it in towards the top.

Perhaps the following information will help you to avoid bending
the threader in the future.

  • If you do not press the needle up-down button before threading the upper thread, the threader will be bent.
  • Thick threads or needles under 75 cannot be processed with the threader either.
  • Please replace as follows: Please only replace the threader after removing the needle.
  • Then, push the threader down at the grey device and then push it out.
  • Insert the new threader into the notch, push upwards and then push it in until it clicks.
  • Now please re-insert the needle in the highest position.
