Make appliqué and embroidery succeed

Bulging fabrics such as jersey, fleece or knitted fabrics sometimes present challenges. You should use stabiliser to prevent the fabric from becoming twisted or stretched during sewing. The water-soluble stabiliser gives the fabric stability. Add buttonholes, decorative seams or embroidery to the fabric with ease. Once you have completed your sewing work, gently remove the stabiliser from the back of the fabric again using water. If the material is located between two layers of fabric, you don’t need to remove it.

Something that’s especially useful for embroidery using an embroidery frame: self-adhesive stabiliser. You can embroider your selected motif without any creases, thanks to the self-adhesive stabiliser. It can also be clamped into the frame directly, along with the fabric. This gives sensitive fabrics more stability and possible surface wear is prevented in the frame area. The result is a beautiful adornment!
