All sewing threads from W6 Wertarbeit are made of quality polyester branded thread. Our thread meets the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 requirements with ease. Our high-quality thread in particular has great abrasion resistance, sturdiness and was designed to run smoothly under tension. You can delight in a sewing experience which is smooth and free of lint. No lint gets into your washing machine either. Fabrics that you have sewn with our thread can be washed at up to 95° Celsius. Even after frequent use, the colours shine just as brightly, and the thread reliable keeps the seams together.

Please note, the colours may be affected by general colour deviations, and the display of your own screen. To be sure to receive the perfect colours for your sewing projects, we recommend the W6 colour card. This gives you an overview of all 391 colours available in the shop. Get a precise idea of the colours before buying your sewing thread set. We have three different sets:

2-piece colour set
6-piece colour set
10-piece colour set

The absolute basic is the 2-piece black/white sewing yarn set. You receive two lots of 500 metres. Traditionally, these colours are used the most. With our 6-piece colour set, you can work with all the important colours: White, black, red, yellow, green and blue. The 1,000-metre spools form the perfect basis for many sewing, embroidery and overlock pieces. The 10-piece colour set offers even more colour variety, and consists of 500-metre spools. As well as black, white, red, yellow and green, we also supply slate grey, light beige, chocolate brown, sky blue and apricot. Add more colour to your life with these powerful shades.
